Definitely a lot better than his section from 'One night in Vancouver'

All these posts blaming the UCI etc etc. Some of you might be surprised to learn that some of the loudest voices behind the scenes calling for the end to 4X were the factory teams and team managers themselves, as well as numerous venues tired of pouring money into it with nothing in return but a debt (ever wonder where Les Gets went?). The majority of the WC circuit is not upset be the decision at all, many are happy to see it go. Finally. Why do you think Graves 'retired?' Most riders and teams knew about this last winter. In fact, the announcement of the original 2012 calendar caught people by surprise when 4X was still on it.

On the podium at every World Cup except for the last one in Val di Sole. Still an impressive streak nonetheless.

'Only a million?' take a second to consider how big a number that is. If you count to it without ever stopping it would take over 11 days. Or, in perhaps more relevant terms, if there were 1 million people in the line to buy tickets it would be over 180 miles long (almost to Seattle). 1 million is big

Minnaar wrapped up the WC overall title at Anglefire in 2005, with one race to spare. So it's not been 11 years.

Are you all really so dense that you can't figure out that it's painted with with an iridescent red/ pink pearl? I looks red at one angle and pink when light reflects off it. Good grief.

Um, no. It's an iridescent/pearl paint that looks red at one angle and looks pink when light reflects off it. Not exactly a conspiracy. Why is this so confusing?

As a pretty regular Go-Pro user (and many times on that track), that one is definitely not set up well and is rattling all over the place. I'd suggest putting the chest mount under the Leatt straps, but the newer strap design doesn't really work for this; maybe the chest mount straps need to be a bit tighter or adjusted to sit higher on his chest. The noise you hear isn't just the chain or rocks, it's actually the sound of the camera knocking around a tiny bit within its case. I shimmed mine a bit and it almost completely went away. Course changes look good, always felt the bottom of the Open course was a bit boring to ride. But with no finish jump what are all the muppets going to complain about?

There is an A and a B for the 2 pre-runners who clear the course and test the timing before the finals. As a bonus they also got to practice. Usually the organizers select an up-and-coming rider, junior, or local hero who couldn't otherwise race; Neko Mulally was one of the pre-runners at Mount Sainte Anne a few years back.
